Howdy, y'all

Do you like hot vamps that eat their hot dog with knife and fork? If the answer is no, you are crazy and I don't want you here anyway.

But if the answer is "Yeas, oh yeas, yeas, yeas, ohhhh yeas!!!" Then, my friend, you are in the right place.

Easy tiger, that's just the beginning. DISCUSSION QUESTIONS FOR CHAPTERS 1-4

1. Let’s say tomorrow a “vampire manifesto” as Merit calls it runs in newspapers across the country announcing their existence. How do you think you would react? If you were hesitant to believe initially, what would it take to convince you they were real?

First thing I would go like this:

If I were hesitant, which I don’t think it’s possible LoL, I would simply say:  "Ok, so if you are a vampire go stand in the sun so I can see if you'll sparkle or fry."

2. Since being turned into a vampire means complete removal from your former life and a new job serving your House in some capacity, what do you think you would miss most about the life you live now?

Well, let me think. I don't go out too often in the sun, so there would be not much change there, I like to sleep in, that's a plus, maybe my friends from work and my friends from school since I wouldn't be able to meet with them as often as now. Oh, and lets not forget, I want my freedom, I hate to be bossing around. That would certainly put me on the edge there.

3. What are your first impressions of Merit and how she’s handling all the changes in her life?

Not very well,, LoL I'm not saying I would handle any better if I were in her place, but the girl could have had it worse, a loooot worse then this.

I think that the main thing is the fact that she didn't have a say. The lack of choice in her life, or the end of it, is the kicker.  It's bad to have the choice between a rock and a hard place, but not have any choice at all is much worse.

4. When you first read the description of Ethan, what actor/model/person you know pops into your head as the perfect embodiment of him? Feel free to include pictures ;-)

Well, Ethan is something else, isn't he? As usual, when I read a book with a blond, tall, prrrrr,, hot vamp I tend to look for some pic of a model or an actor that can be close to the real thing, always a disaster. But in this case, in the minute that I've heard (it is an audio book LoL) the image came to my mind. Vogel... ohhhhhhhhhh,,,,,

5. Do you think Merit’s anger at Ethan himself, not the situation, is justified?

Oh, you didn't just ask that.

Of course it is justified. The guy is like,, ok, he is hot and stuff, but he acts like hi's the boss of everyone and ,, ok, he is the boss of everyone. I just don't think he should be all superior about it. Ok, so that's not really it cose he, oh, I don't know what I'm saying anymore. I just say that Merit is a vamp because he took away her right to decide to be a vamp or not. Granted, he did save her life, but this excuse do not absolve him from that. Well, I guess I have some anger for him too after all. LoL
