Some Girls Bite (Chicago Vampires #1) by Chloe Neil Read Along Tuesdays Discussion #3

Time fly away when you are having fun, right? Yeah,, good times man, good times.

I’m sure you all are having the bestest times while reading Some Girls bite and swooning with Ethan and Morgan and Catcher,,,,<sigh>

But, now is time to do the really, super duper fun part of this read along: answer the fab questions about this fab book.

Here are mine and I hope you enjoy it :D

Discussion Questions Chapter 9-12

1. Catcher and Ethan share some personality traits. What makes Mallory, Merit, and even us readers attracted to these guys? Would you date/mate with someone like these guys in real life?

Oh, my, where do I start? LoL Ok, I’ll start with Ethan cose he was the first. 

My rational side says he is strong, has character, is courageous and dignity. My not so rational side says he is sooooooooo hot and I want to bite him.

Catcher, grrrrrr. He is tuff and will not give you s*it. He say it to your face and makes you wear skanky outfits so he can watch you muscles move. I wish I could se his muscles move………

Sorry, What was I saying? Ok, I remember. Yeah, Catcher. He is cool.

Would I date/mate with someone like them? Heck yeah!! 

2. In Chapter 9 we learn of another murder. Do you see any patterns with the previous murder and Merit's attack? Do you have any guesses as to who is responsible and the motive behind the murders?

I see a lot of it. It’s like a déjà vu LoL. I’ve already finish this book so I can’t say this last question, sorry. My lips are sealed. I’ll just say that is pretty cool.

3. The commendation is my favorite moment in the book and a significant event in Merit's life. She has finally come to terms that she is a Cadogan vampire. Were you surprised at all that Merit resisted Ethan's call and that he made her a Sentinel? Do you think she'll do well in this position? Why or why not?

Well, when he said the words I was like: What the heeeell is this?

When Mer explained I was like, hummmm, very smart move,,touché.

Mer is going to be a kick ass sentinel cose, in a way, he gave her freedon and she can even boss him a little. He has her loyalty and she has the bossy letter pants. It’s a win win situation.

4. Loyalty is a reoccurring theme throughout the book and much of this series. Why is it so important to Ethan that he needs Merit's allegiance? Is it solely a Master and Sentinel thing or does it imply something else?

Vampires are animals with animal instincts like panthers and lions. How the lider rule his kingdom? Showing he is the strongest so he can protects those under him (giggle) and gain their trust. Merit is like a panther and Ethan knows that she is strong that’s why he wants her trust and allegiance. Is it? A Master and Sentinel thing? I don’t know, I think that it runs a little deeper than this. I mean, the guy gave her life back, or unlife,, I don’t know how to say this. Ok, he turned her. This is like a major stuff. I guess.

Look at him.  How can someone don’t pledge allegiance to this face?

5. If you had the opportunity to sit down with Ethan, Merit, Mallory, and Catcher for a bite to eat like in the beginning of Chapter 12, what questions would you ask them at this point of the story?

See, this is something I can’t answer , not honesty, cose I’ve read the book and I know stuff. But, on second thought, I don’t think that my questions would be much different.

They would be like:

Ethan, luv yours pants. How do I get in them? <giggle>

Merit, what’s up?

Mallory, luv your hair. How do you get this shade of blue?

Catcher, can you bend over and touch your toes so I can see how limber you are? Yeah, now turn your back to me, uhummm, nice. <giggle>
