Autism Awareness Month Giveaway Hop

Howdy, y’all.

As many of you must know, April is Autism Awareness Month and I’m so happy I can be part of this amazing Giveaway Hop.

The Hop is hosted by:

In case you don’t know what Autism is, I’ll give you  a summarized info:

Autism — is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and affects a person’s ability to communicate and interact with others. Autism is defined by a certain set of behaviors and is a "spectrum disorder" that affects individuals differently and to varying degrees. There is no known single cause of autism.

You can find more information about autism at the links below:

               http://www.autism.org/

In fiction we can see a little about Autism on the book Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.

Oscar (played by Thomas Horn) has a type of autism that makes him super-duper intelligent in logical planning, but also messes up his perception. A simple sound like a drop of rain tapping against the windows becomes loud as a thunder and as close as if he was standing with his ear glued to the glass. That’s why the name of the book is “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close”. Pretty clever, right? Well, I thought so.

For support and help to spread the word about Autism Awareness I’m hosting a giveaway. The price is a $10,00 certificate at Book Depository. It’s international, but it has to be one of the countries where Book Depository delivers.
To participate, just follow the steps in the link below and have fun:
