Healthy in a Hurry by Karen AnselMy rating: 3 of 5 stars

I’m terrible when it comes to follow rules and I almost never make the right decision when it comes to pick my lunch or dinner and snacks. I follow my stomach and that’s not very wise. I work from 6am to 6pm and I have school till 10pm, so when I come home I’m totally spent and have no energy to make a decent meal. That was my main reason to pick up this book. It delivers what it promises; the recipes are fast and healthy. This book has many good recipes and the pics really make my mouth waters. The good thing in this book is the tips to make your diet healthier and how to pick the food you’ll eat. But I really think this book would be better if it was a hardback copy.
The recipes were fairly easy to follow, however, many of the ingredients I can’t find in Brazil. It’s a bummer, I know. But I’ll try to switch with something else and see what that taste like.
After reading this book, I feel like I can change my life and eat healthier, and be happier and slender and all that crap we say we will do after reading books like this. The reality is: I learned some really useful tips and I intent to use it on my day to day diet, but I’m not promising anything. LoL
*An ARC was kindly provided by the publisher. But this in no way influenced my views on this book. This is my honest review.*
